Ask any HR professional about their companys HR Model and you are likely to hear, Our HR function is undergoing a transformation. One of the impacts of these transformations is the need to rethink how to develop HR professionals and HR leaders. There are new and evolving roles such as HR Business Partners, new areas of expertise like Data Analytics and Insights, and the build out of shared service centers. Further, advancements in HCM Software allows HR and business leaders to have increased access to data, dashboards, and self-service transactions changing the skills and capabilities needed in HR. This working group will discuss how organizations are thinking about developing HR talent in the wake of these changes.

This session is designed for HR leaders who are in charge of HR Career Development for their companies.

Two of CAHRS Research Assistants are in the process of conducting a fall study on this topic. While it will not be complete at this point, in this session, they will be sharing some early findings and refining them based on input from the group.
