Over the last 30 years, CAHRS’ Faculty and Partner companies have seen massive changes in the world of work, global competition, sophistication of HR practices, and the structure and status of the HR function.  The purpose of this CAHRS Partner Meeting will be to discuss a range of the macro factors that will impact the future of work, how these forces will create new pressures and challenges for the HR function, and how the HR function can start to get ahead of these trends.  Topics covered include the impact of cognitive computing on the HR function, new directions in learning and development, emerging directions in shared services, design thinking and the employee experience, driving organizational innovation, and closing the gender pay gap.  Participants will be privy to information shared by Leaders from CAHRS partner companies and Cornell’s Faculty experts.

Who Should Attend?

This CAHRS Partner Meeting is intended to provide an overview of macro trends that will critically affect the workplace of the future and will provide real-life examples of how their HR functions are looking to adapt and get in front of these trends.
